Here's a great way to use your computer to save time and effort...Use your desktop PC and color printer to print color-coded strip labels as you need them with easy-to-use software. Using Smartstrip™, ColorBarExpress®, Col'r'tab® II, ClickStrip™, or ClickFile™ saves time, effort and money! Label-sticking time is reduced and keeping track of all those individual color-coding labels is eliminated.
Print alpha, numeric, and year labels plus names, account numbers or whatever information you need, all on one strip label. Choose from several of the most popular color-coding systems including Barkley®, Col’r’tab®, Jeter®, Tab®, GBS®, Ames®, Datafile® and a variety of Smead® labels including the Alpha-Z NCC name label. As label data is typed in, the screen shows a preview of your label.

Smartstrip™ label printing software is extremely flexible, yet easy to set up and use. Prints on envelope-size sheets (see below to order) that are super-easy to apply; ask us for the secret! Design your label style by selecting from nineteen color-code labeling formats. Pick the number of color blocks and drag-and-drop to where you need them. Choose a font...adjust text size...bold a line...add a barcode, very accommodating! ColorBar Express®
allows you to print labels without installing special software on your PC. Its secure web-based application means no upgrade hassles, and any number of users can print any number of labels from any computer with Internet access and an inkjet or laser printer. Great for multi-location offices. Database connectivity saves typing time, and blank label sheets (ColorBar or Smartstrip, see below) can be ordered online. Free trial is available; just call your Ancom product specialist for a passcode.
| Col'r'tab® II is great for new filing systems and conversions. Color coding systems include Barkley®, Col’r’tab®, Jeter®, and Tab®. Data can be typed in individually or imported from other programs. Prints on 7.5" x 1.5" labels, 6 per page. You can print one at a time, or more, and you can rerun the label sheet through an inkjet printer. |

ClickStrip® is the one to go with when you need a simple solution but want to integrate with an existing color-coded filing system. If there is no ready-made label match available, we will design a match to your existing label. Just install ClickStrip and import your label design. Then when you need a label, you type in the data, click ‘print’ and easily apply labels to folders. Prints on a similar label form to Smartstrip, but they can't be used interchangeably (see below to order). |
ClickFile works in a similar way to ClickStrip, but prints directly onto a special printable folder using a wide-media printer. ClickFile can print more than color-coding info on the end tab. Grids, logos, photos, etc. can be printed almost anywhere on the folder, inside and out. Custom designs are created for each client’s needs.
