How does it work?

1) Sign up for Pet Health ID cards - a small set up fee will apply.

2) Vetgate sends a small program that is loaded onto the PC that runs your practice management software. This enables quick upload of weekly ID card data.

3) As clients visit for their annual exam, the tech takes one digital photo of the pet and get the preferred email address from the client. Enter these into your practice management software.

4) Upload the new health information for each week to Vetgate. This will only be for patients that had an annual check up the previous week.

5) Vetgate Patient Health ID Cards are produced for those patients, and they are mailed to the client on behalf of the clinic, along with a letter explaining how to access their pet or pets’ information in the web site’s patient portal. Although this correspondence has your logo, name and return address, you do not have to do anything after uploading the weekly data!
